Last week when the year 8’s went to camp the year 7’s stayed back but the year 7’s had to have some fun so the Teacher’s. It Was 3 day’s worth of fun and so we had 3 group’s Hustlers,Buckles and Mana. I am in mana. The first thing we did was a sing so it was like the teacher’s had to pick a word and we had to try to get as many songs as we can and sing we had to sing them the last team how still had songs to sing wins.Then after morning tea my team had to learn a dance and perform and the songs was Island girl then after lunch my team played dodgeball with the hustlers and we lost.

The Next Day we did some games like stacking cups to match the cards and we did a human pyramid and played with blocks. Then we did just dances and then it was morning tea after that we did dodgeball but it was vs all the teams.

On the last day then Mrs wrote down some maori words and we have to try guess what it is then we played tic tac toe then it was morning tea then we did another sing off you already know what that is so I don’t have to explain it so and what we won then at lunch time I home so I don’t what they did at the end so but I went shopping with my mama.

On the holidays I went to my uncle’s house and stayed there for most of the holidays. But everyday me and my cousin have to clean every day and when we finish then my 5 year old cousin’s friends alway come to our house and make a mess then just leave then we have to clean all over again. The next day we just did the same thing again but when we were about to watch a movie my cousin came in and said I got a PS5 and he spent like 2 hours trying it on.

The next day my uncle said  going to take us to have a BBQ at the park but my uncle dropped us off at the bottom of the BBQ. Spot was and we had to walk all the way up that long hill and when we got there they weren’t even there yet so they started to cut the wood then I saw them coming when they got there my uncle started to make creamy mushroom. When my uncle finished cooking the soup my cousin finished cooking the meat then we set the table and started to eat. But first we had to say the pray and then we could eat.

Then the 3 days later my older cousin his dog and me and my cousin for a walk around 6:00 we went to the park first and then we went for a longer walk down to the field and there was a big hill down hill so I stopped dropped and rolled down the hill and then I saw some kids dragging a tree and then my cousin that took us for a walk said how very run’s to the trees and back first I will give them 5 dollars so I was later and when we got back it was like 7:30 After that day I went home and it was thursday and that was my holiday.

Today in writing we leanrt about the structure ofa simple sentence. There are 2 parts to a simple sentence: The subject and predicate. A simple sentence is also known as an independent clause because it contains one complete thought. Here is a example The cat sat on the mat try to figure out what is the sudject and what is the verb and what is the predicate.
